Surface Says
Louis Poulsen’s versatile light fixtures create an alluring, memorable ambience in any space they inhabit. GamFratesi's collaboration with the brand, particularly the wall-mounted Yuh lamp, is especially brilliant.
AJ Table Lamp
Designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1960 for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen (Radisson Blu), the light contributed to the total design concept of the hotel.
The PH 3/2 table lamp is designed based on the principle of a reflective handblown opal three-shade system, which directs the majority of the light downward.
The Patera is a glowing sphere built up of small diamond-shaped cells. Each cell is carefully designed to capture light and to shield the light source from the viewing angles above 45 degrees.
The organic shapes are typical of a Verner Panton design, as were the many strong colors the fixture was originally available in. The fixture emits a soft and comfortable illumination.
Cirque is a play between colors and forms inspired by balloons, carrousels, colors, and light. The fixture provides a downward glare-free soft light by means of the white lacquered inner reflector.
