HOSOO

HOSOO is a Kyoto–based textile company founded in 1688. It specializes in superior fabrics based on Nishijin weaving techniques—a method developed more than 1,200 years ago for use in kimono and obi sashes and popularized by nobles and members of the samurai class—for high-end interior and fashion design projects.
After more than 300 years of perfecting its craft, HOSOO embraces time-honored traditions of fabric-making—and adds a contemporary twist. Its use of premium materials and intricate weaving techniques produce striking textiles of unparalleled quality.
