Archi-Tectonics NYC
The LEED design experts at Archi-Tectonics have a penchant for sustainable projects with dramatic facades. (Look to its New York residences at the Brewster Building, 33 Vestry, and 497 Greenwich Street for examples.) Archi-Tectonics is helmed by Winka Dubbeldam, a Dutch-American architect who established the research-based firm in 1994 after receiving her second Masters degree from Columbia University and Partner Justin Korhammer who joined Archi-Tectonics in 2016.

We recently won the Asian Games Park 2022 Competition, with a mile long park, 2 stadiums, a shopping area, several parking garages and a fitness center.

Asian Games Park
The Valley Village, a gently sloping and meandering linear plaza serves as the connector between the two stadium sites. With various retail stores and pavilions, and a central foodcourt, this commercial area serves as a gathering spot during the games, and as a market for the neighborhood and weekend vistors. Together with 60,000 of underground parking, this strategy allows us to retain a maximum of surface area for the landscape park.

Asian Games Hockey Stadium
Focusing on minimal environmental impact, energy efficiency, easy public transport access, and a multitude of landscape features, we envision the park as a proptotype for sustainable and healthy urban living. Various new sports-related programs, such as canoe loops, running and bike paths foster physical or leisure activities.
