On the first Wednesday of April, Surface editor-in-chief Spencer Bailey held a discussion with Taye Yun, vice president of the Korean eyewear label Gentle Monster, and designer Marcel Wanders, cofounder of Moooi, at the furniture company’s hotel-inspired presentation during Salone del Mobile in Milan. Yun and Wanders discussed the origins of their respective brands, designing great retail experiences, and their recent collaboration on a new collection of sunglasses.
