A team headed by Vargo Nielsen Palle has been awarded the commission for the new Aarhus School of Architecture buildings, beating out big-name firms SANAA and BIG. “It will be a factory for architectural experimentation that will set the stage for cooperation with the city, the profession, and our neighbors—just as we wanted,” said the school’s rector, Torben Nielsen.
